WHEELING MINERS UNVEIL OFFICIAL COLORS FOR NEW ERA OF MINERS FOOTBALL

WHEELING, W.Va. — As the Wheeling Miners continue building toward their return to the National Arena League in 2027, the organization today officially unveiled the colors that will define the next chapter of Miners football.

The new color palette draws inspiration directly from the industries, people and heritage that helped build Wheeling and communities throughout the Ohio Valley.

The official colors of the Wheeling Miners are:

COAL BLACK
Representing the coal beneath the Valley and the generations of workers whose toughness and determination helped shape the region.

STEEL SILVER
Inspired by the steel, manufacturing and industrial heritage of the Ohio Valley and representing strength, resilience and the ability to withstand adversity.

MINER GOLD
Representing the pride of the Miner, the value of hard work and the determination to continue digging deeper in pursuit of something greater.

LIMESTONE WHITE
Inspired by the natural foundation of the region and representing the foundation upon which the next era of Miners football will be built.

Together, the four colors establish a visual identity designed to be unmistakably connected to Wheeling and the Ohio Valley.

From the coal seams beneath our feet to the steel forged through generations of hard work, each color was selected to tell a piece of the story behind the Miners name.

The updated color palette will become increasingly visible throughout the organization as the Miners continue unveiling their new identity ahead of the 2027 season, including team branding, uniforms, merchandise, digital platforms and the game-day experience.

The colors may be new.

The mentality isn't.

Built by the Mine.
Driven by the Valley.

This is who we are.
